BPC 157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a pentadecapeptide made up of 15 amino acids. The amino acids sequence in BPC-157 is similar to a portion of the human BPC amino acid sequence. Human BPC is found in the gastric juice. Studies have shown that BPC-157 enhances the healing of wounds, including tendons wounds.

Side Effects

No harmful side effects of BPC-157 are known and BPC 157 peptide is considered safe to use.

Administration

The injection should be about 1 to 2 cm away from the center of the injured site to allow the peptide to spread across the entire site of the injury. In the course of the injection, the usual precautions should be taken. The injected site should be clean and thoroughly disinfected.

The usual dose is between 200 - 500 mcg of BPC 157 per injection, once a day. For serious injuries, BPC 157 can be injected twice a day. The maximum duration of application is approximately 4 weeks.
